Your account is readily available upon request at Reception. The following methods of payment are accepted: Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept contactless payment and ApplePay.
Assistance (24-hr reception)
Reception is staffed 24 hours. From 11pm to 7am the Night Porter will cover reception to deal with any enquiries.
Bars
Located on the ground floor of the hotel, providing a fantastic variety of beverages and has a wide range of speciality drinks including cocktails, Welsh whisky and gins.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the restaurant which is located on the ground floor close to reception. We serve from 7:00am to 10:00am every day.
Car Parking
Limited parking is situated to the front of the hotel and can be found by using the postcode LD3 9DB. There is also public pay & display parking available: 16 Kensington Brecon, Powys LD3 9AY
Checkout
Checkout time is 11:00am. A limited number of late checkout slots are available by prior arrangement by contacting our Reception team.

Please contact Reception who will advise you on services and locations for religious worship.
Cinema
Our nearest cinema is the Coliseum Cinema less than a mile from the hotel. The postcode is LD3 7DG.

Currency Conversion
The nearest bureau de change is at Ramsdens – Beacons Place which is located just down the road.

We endeavour to cater for all dietary requirements. If you have any special requirements please let us know in advance of your booking.
Directions
If you require directions our Reception team are happy to provide directions, and if necessary, maps may be available to help you on your journey.
Disabled Facilities
We are happy to assist and make arrangements and adjustments where possible to make your stay more enjoyable.
Doctor, Dentist and Chemist
Please seek advice from reception for the nearest Doctors Surgery, Dental Surgery, and local chemist.
Emergency Services
Dial ‘999’ for the police, fire brigade or an ambulance. Please also inform a member of team as there will most likely be a first aider on site.
Fire Procedures
It is imperative that guests read the Fire Notice on the back of the bedroom door and familiarise themselves with the fire evacuation procedure and fire exits
Flowers
If you wish to send flowers or have them delivered to your room, we would be happy to arrange this for you with our local florist. Please contact us directly and we will do our best to assist.
Heating and Cooling
The heating in the room may be adjusted using the thermostat dial on the side of the radiator during the winter months. A limited number of fans are also available – please speak to reception to check availability.
Luggage Assistance
Please ask reception for help with luggage or luggage storage at any time, 24-hours a day. Luggage may be stored in the hotel up to six hours after vacating your room without charge
Maintenance
Should you find anything not in working order, please report it to Reception and we will endeavour to repair it as quickly as possible.
No Smoking
Please be aware that the whole hotel, including all bedrooms, is non-smoking. The courtyard has designated areas for smoking. If guests are found to have smoked inside bedrooms, a minimum charge of £150.00 will be made to cover further cleaning and freshening of the room. Each room is fitted with a smoke detector which is very sensitive and will evacuate the whole hotel if triggered. Activation will incur further charges to the guests account.
Pets
Pets are allowed in certain rooms & areas. Please speak to a member of our team or contact reception where they are happy to book you a pet-friendly table.
Postage
Postage to most destinations can be arranged via Reception. All post is sent daily.
Restaurant
There are several dining areas throughout the hotel, with the same menu available in each. Our main Eatery is located on the ground floor. Our daytime menu is available from midday, our evening menu is available from 5pm Monday-Saturday, with our delicious Sunday menu available from 12pm. Security
Please ensure that your bedroom windows and doors are closed when you leave the room. We would like to draw your attention to the Hotel Proprietors Act displayed in the Reception area and regret to inform you that the hotel cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage to any guest’s property not handed in for safekeeping. Valuables should be deposited in the safe inside each wardrobe which allows private personal access via a keypad.

Television
Our rooms are equipped with a television, with freeview channels. If you require assistance with subtitles, etc, please contact reception.
Toiletries
A limited supply of complimentary common items are available from reception. If you have enjoyed any of the h2k luxury toiletries, these can be purchased from reception.
Voltage
The UK uses a 240v supply with three pin plugs.
